The cards in this set show the National Wildlife
Federation credit underneath each image, but a variation has been
found on card 31 by fellow collector Linda Ringland. On the first
example the card is orientated landscape, whilst on the second
example it is orientated portrait.

Looking at the album the card should have
been printed portrait but is appears as though a large number
were printed with the National Wildlife Federation credit
along the wrong edge.
The wallchart also reflects the
album layout with the card printed correctly in the portrait
orientation.

The back of the portrait card examined also appears
to be of heavier print than the landscape cards of the same number.
It may be that this indicates a reprint set of cards from later
in the issue of these cards.
All cards examined so far indicate that the correctly
printed portrait card is not as common as the landscape printing.
It is also unknown as to whether this variation can be found on
the blue backed card set issued in the United States.
It would be much appreciated
if collectors would email me to say which of these they have in
order to find out more about this variation.
